Been writing for 10+ years.
Romance flavours what I write, which is mainly fantasy and/or historical fiction (sometimes at the same time), and falls mostly under New Adult fiction.

In whatever medium it is, I’m always on the hunt for a good story. Storytelling is my passion, and to be brutally honest, I probably wouldn’t be alive if not for writing. So there 🤷🏽‍♀️

My current focus(obsession) is my planned trilogy, Heavenly Lies, which is quite heavily my attempt at a Tolkien-esque mythos, with love as a throughline—all kinds of love; romantic, platonic, familial. The first book, Heavenly Blood, is complete. I am presently procrastinating on procuring a literary agent, as you do when you deal with rejection by avoiding its possibility entirely.
At present, I have finished three full-length novels; the above mentioned, another being the first story I ever attempted writing, and the third was a high school project. I have a few others I will work on once through with Heavenly Lies.

For original fiction, I write as 'azurehyn'. I used to write exclusively on Wattpad, but I’ve decided to keep my more serious creative endeavours on my own site. If you’ve found yourself here from there, I apologise, but I don’t see myself going back to Wattpad. The stories up there will remain so but likely stay incomplete. However, I reserve the right to recant this statement if I ever decide to tackle those stories again. As 'xeah', I write fanfiction exclusively on AO3, though not as much these days. Perhaps don't go looking for the fanfics though (I say as I make accessing them not terribly difficult).

Note about excerpts; bear in mind there might be differences in quality (depending on your taste, I guess) since they were all written in different years. Earlier works will not be as 'polished' or up to my standards as later ones. For the sake of my sanity I only lightly edited them, as I'm entirely focused on Heavenly Lies.

That being said...if you catch a typo, no you didn't, you just promptly informed me of it and have no idea what I'm talking about if I ever mistakenly mention it in passing.
